Eye-yoyo, Very Itch-i-fied...

Eye-yoyo, Very Itch-i-fied...

aaaah, my eyesssss...

i don't know what's happening to me nowadays, but my eyes constantly get irritated. maybe it's the polouted air in town, maybe it's the late nights or the computer in front of me at work all the time. by the looks of it, i may not be able to donate my eyes at all.

oh, by the way, i didn't mention that here did i? me and my mum, we both pledged to donate our organs upon our death. we can donate our eyes, kidney, liver, heart, skin, bone marrow, and goodness knows what else la. based on past statistics, only 5% of the people who pledged to donate their organs will eventually donate them upon their death. haha, if i'm one of those people in the 5%, i guess my pallbearers will have an easier job. haha.
go to www.organdonation.com.my for more info.

i just bought two new games! whoo! okay, yesss....finally i have something to do when i get back. i'll be guiding lara croft to look around the temples in bolivia, and i'll be using jack carver in far cry: instinct to rip people to shreds. quite exciting. shall tell you guys more perhaps.

anyway, i have nothing to type for now, so i'll say tah-tah for now. bye!

The Magic of Random Play

The Magic of Random Play

Hitting the shuffle button, the sounds of trouble, by coldplay come streaming to my ears.

Have you ever had one of those days where everything you come across just seems to speak to you? Or try to tell you something? Or like how random play just picks up upon your state of mind and speaks to your soul? Sometimes when you try too hard, all you need is a slap to wake you up to what a monster you have become.

I have never meant to cause you trouble
I have never meant to do you wrong
I, will if I’ve ever caused you trouble
Oh, no I’ve never meant to do you harm.

Just Another Day

Just Another Day

not directing this to anyone, but i think the severest form of cowardice unmasks itself when one says, "that's the way i am"

that, my friends is looking at your flaws in the eye and saying, "hey man, you're great! you're a part of me anyway!"

bahz...anyway, i'm sitting here at work...doing absolutely nothing. i've already had two cups of coffee and i'm still falling asleep. but i think i'm partly to blame too. i'm, playing frank sinatra on my pc.

haha, i just listened to a song called the 'french foreign legion'. it's damn funny. here, let me pass time my trying to type out the song for you...

french foreign legion
(marching drumroll)
if you turn me down once more
i'll join the french foreign legion
bet you they would welcome me with open arms

first you love me: yes
then you love me: no
i don't know where i stand
do we march together down the aisle?
or do i march that desert sand?

if you don't think i would find romance
in the french foreign legion
think about that uniform with all the charm!

just one more time,
are you gonna be mine?
or au revior cherry?
it's the french foreign legion for me.

funny isn't it? haha. of course, back then the pronunciation was so much better than the mumbled stuff we hear today.

still, here are five vocalists whom i really admire:
(in order of preference)
brandon boyd of incubus
chris cornell of audioslave
scott weiland of stone temple pilots and velvet revolver
axl rose of guns and roses
Freddie mercury of queen

Mum Day

Mum Day

okay okay, so the last sunday was mother's day. although i don't say it, let it be known, mum, i love you, we both love you, now, if you're reading this, please ease off the nagging for today... tomorrow you can go back to your usual pace.

so we went to this place called somerset for a lunch, and i quite enjoyed it. i didn't let my brother pay such a big portion of the bill though, kesian la that fellow, he's just schooling. by the way, the drive there through town and bangsar was damn shiok. we were rushing for the 1.30 for the booking, and we left at 1.00...so i sped! whoohoo!! clear roads! (thanks to wesak day) zoom! all the way there. shiok man. never will you be able to drive like that in town... most of the time it's crawling, people cutting your queue and you brawling it out to change lanes, blah blah blah...

anyway, after that, we went to check out a shooting range!

as in a real shooting range. it's across ampang park, and they have been around for four years already! imagine that! i'm not a 10 minutes drive away, and i didn't know till i saw their advert in the papers one day.

it's called city square shooting gallery. located in the city square building, along jalan tun razak.

they have air con indoor ranges, sound proof facilities, rent out handguns firing 9mm and .22cal bullets, airguns (who wants these when you can have the real deal?) and have instructors.

it's RM187 for an hour on the range, gun rental, all the necessary equipment which should be eyewear and ear mufflers, 50 bullets, and an instructor to guide you.

i know, i know, it sounds expensive, but they guy there said that rm187 is for the whole package, but you can rope in other friends along too, so if you wanna shoot away all the 50 rounds on your own you can, but you could bring friends along too, just so long as you use the same gun, range and the 50 bullets larh. they will provide extra mufflers etc at no extra charge at all.

interested?? as usual, email me, sms me, or drop me a line (no hook please). it's a real range guys, and it looks really well maintained. see if i can put up a link some time.

okay, the link is here.

Stadium!

Stadium!

ohboyohboyohboyohboyohboy!!!

i just bought the new redhotchilipeppers album stadium arcadium! i have, as of this moment, 7 of their cds! californication, by the way, greatest hits, live at hyde park (2 discs), and stadium arcadium (also 2 discs). on my ipod i have a grand total of 94 of their songs! i can't wait.

i just checked out coldplay's concert in singpore at the sistic site. it's on july the tenth, and prices range from S$70 to nearly S$200. does anybody wanna go? email/sms me ASAP k?? or just go to the site for more details.

whee!! whoever said that money can't buy happiness must either be slightly too zen or a monk. aren't you happy when you get your paycheck?

sorry my friends for a long absence. lately i haven't the heart to sit in front of the computer to type stuff down here. hell, i'm not even logged onto MSN as type here. i don't know why. sometimes the solitude is nice you know. i actually did type out a post on monday and saved it onto my ipod from the office, but i was sooooo lazy i updated only today. it's still tagged as monday's post though (i know, i'm cheating)...so just in case some of you visited my blog sometime during the week and it didn't have post but now, it's got two new ones....whoops.

and to the buddhists, taoist, hindus and...ah, heck, just anyone who celebrates wesak day: HAPPY WESAK DAY!

i met up with lipjeen this afternoon for a brief stroll in the pleasant weather, while enjoying the fresh air. oi, wake up! where, can you tell me, find a place like this in town? haha, KL town has neither fresh air, nor pleasant weather. okay, weather's nice sometimes, but sometimes only. haha, we watched MI3, and i kinda thought it was ok. i'm not a big fan for the MI series, especially after john woo laid waste to the second one by making it so damned unbelievable and so damned irritating with all that stop action slo-mo camera scenes...grrh. this one, this one was okay. just okay. i actually kinda liked it.

well, to say the least it was much better than the hills have eyes. dammit, why did i have to see that show? gosh. it was as if the directors and the script writers all grewup in slaughterhouses, slept in abattoirs, had ambitions to be butchers, ate animals raw, thought nothing of frolicking in warm blood, and thought of sharing their morbid tastes with the world. it's a lousy show, seriously. why did i watch it. on wednesday, i mean, with some friends from BASF. (sighs...)

today i asked my brother out too. long time already i haven't gone jalan-jalan with that guy. he's about 4 inches taller than me already. whoah. and his weight...ohman. anyway, we went for bowling. we had a grand time laughing at how horrible we both played larh. hahaha.

so that's the end of today.

see you all soon!

I'm Finally Putting an End to It

I'm Finally Putting an End to It

okay okay, i know i haven't blogged for weeks now.

what's new? well, i've got a new colleague now, named tania. she's hired under the same scheme as me, so she's working here on a temporary contract basis.

that's all. last week she didn't have her own PC so i shared mine, and thus, didn't blog for a while.

oh yeah, i accepted the place in IMU on wednesday. there's a finallity to this whole uni hunt thing, and boy, it feels good.

oh gosh man, when i asked cheehau the other day at NUS if keechun was renting an apartment near IMU instead of travelling up and down everyday, chee hau said 'yes'. i only found out when i visited him on last wednesday that keechun is in the same apartment at cheehau! hahaha! the seremban boys are together. poor cheehau, and poor keechun. they get an everyday overdose of weirdness and lameness, respectively.

so, well, that's all for now. malaysia lost the thomas cup. not like they got there in the first place larh, they crashed out in the semis. the finals were great man. closely contested between denmark and china. i was hoping for denmark to win, but my racist mum was rooting for china. and they won both cups. how irritating. the match between lindan and peter gade christiansen was good! world class badminton.

i'm playing throught driver3. quite fun. going through all the unplayed games i have...hahaha...so long for now....
