The Last Week

The Last Week

okay, it's time to reveal what i've been up to the past week or so. first for those who pop by this site and visit, let me mutter an apology "sorry...." for not being able to update this place for a while now. firstly it has been a crazy, busy week and my computer broke down. there was this trojan that invaded my computer, and so, right now, i'm back online, and back blogging again.

let me see, things that happened...

i've got a job! well, it's sort of like a job actually. erm, let me give you background to this. my aunty married this guy who runs this big clinic down at jalan pudu. it's called 'leela ratos and friends clinic' or something, leela ratos being of north indian descent, and whose son married my aunty. yep, so that end of my family tree is chindian (chinese+indian). anyway, there's this whole lot from ground to the 3rd floor that's consisting of a clinic on the first and second floor, and a nursing home for the elderly on the third. so, given that i'm kinda looking to do something at least relevant to what i wanna pursue (medicine) i asked if i could work there.

cut the long story short, i'm working as a part time nurse! (do i hear you all gasping??? got problem arh??? grr....) haha, anyway, the work there's kinda okay, it gets boring after a while. i shall spare you the details here, but if you are curious, click here. it's a little difficult at first, but it really is very fulfilling after everyday. it's like helping out a lil, you know, actually do something for the elderly there, and interact with them and pick up a few things on my own about the healthcare industry. by the way, this home makes big bucks. details at the link again.

so that's that. that's why i'm so beat after every(mon and wednes) day.

things with me and my girlfriend, haiz...not that smooth...i don't know why. she's shy by nature. she has to learn to open up and share. i need to learn how to shut up.

someone close just broke up, and well, keep strong. now comes the time where that God-awful cliche that says something about multitudes of fish in the vast oceans. haha, i'm not going to leave that piece of advise here. just...well. keep strong man.

things with my family, okay saje lah...except whenever i bring up my dad with my mum and vice versa. guys, don't ruin your marriages. i'll personally lecture you. haha...

i saw lance armstrong on oprah. that guy's great man. truly one of sports greater people.

'tis late, and i'll stop now larh, k? gnite folks!

Hey Duckie, Leela Ratos is actually South Indian (Mangalorean) as is her son, Nani. Also, the klinik / Hospi-tel today is a far cry from what it was in it's heyday!!
