ah, what the hell.



these days i've been playing guitar quite often. to relieve stress and to relieve boredom and just pass the time. and after all that, i found the answer to the question, "how long do guitar picks (or for those of you stuffy guys, 'plectrums') last under heavy use?"


well, the answer to that is, not that long.


case to point, my yellow tortex pick. haha. here it is alongside an almost unused green tortex pick.



which is kinda sad actually. coz it's the pick the lipjeen bought me, outta whim. she thought it was cute (it is). sweet girl right? anyway! as you can see, i've used it a lot. by chance that it's hard enough to give a good picking response but not to stiff to make my strumming sound like a retard's (anthony's). but alas, i'm retiring it. what was once 'the wedge' is now a round bottomed pick. i didn't know it was that bad till i tried another one.
