gah, the prelims are over, and life could never get any more meaningless than this...





are you kidding?? the after-prelims are swell!!! whoohoo!!! it's almost as if the actual A levels are over already.

here's a list of post prelims:

1.) i went back to KL and had fun! yeah, played my games (forza motorsport rocks man) went out around town with lipjeen, engtze, kienji, and my family and slacked larh...

2.) i watched the whole series of band of brothers from episodes 1-8. great stuff man.

3.) i read nineteen eighty-four, by george orwell. not bad, but so-so only...

4.) i'm reading memoirs of a geisha courtesy of ET's friend charmaine. great book!

5.) i'm gonna go and watch corpse bride with lipjeen this evening.

whoohoo...but still, there's a lot of work for me to catch up upon, like past year A level papers, practise papers and such larh...

everybody seems to be in a strange mood nowadays, like sometimes very friendly, sometimes not at all, and there are times when your friends around you wear a mask so thick you have not clue as to what really is going on behind it. besides, even behind that mask there are those thick skulls to penetrate too. haha....

maybe it's the prelims, taking their toll finally on the poor souls (of course, me included) of the forboding sense of the coming A levels beginning to crack even the hardest of all people. gosh, i wish that life just froze right now, right here. i don't mind going to school, living in the hostel and going back and forth to KL every now and then, 'coz right now i'm actually quite comfortable.

but change i guess in inevitable, and if you've read 'who moved my cheese' (go read it. you wouldn't even have to buy it. it's so short you can finish it standing in the bookshop) the point made about embracing change is certainly a valid one. easy to say (or publish)...not that easy actually.

hmmz...anyway, time for me to stop dreaming and all.

gah...
