F&N - Deepavali Week (kinda)

you know, even when you just live everyday and do all your mundane everyday-ish things, you discover things about yourself?



i found that out today.



i like old stuff! haha. serious!



i turned onto channel 412 on astro, cinemax, and i managed to catch "Bridge Over The River Kwai"



man, i was so excited. i was rivetted for at least 2 hours. it was a good show! it ended with everyone except the bad guys dying, and yet it still conveyed the honour of dying, determination and sacrifice. i mean, what the hell is wrong with shows today?



when was the last time spiderman died? i mean, there was one scene showing spiderman trying to leap from one building to another, just to see if he really lost his powers. he fell at least ten storeys onto the hoods of cars and walked away with a sore back.



aiyoh, c'mon la, people lift shopping bags already got herniated disc lorh. people sneeze also can have non-stop epistaxis lorh... (if you're taking anti-platelet drugs la) imagine spidey lying there with a gearstick, well, sticking out of his chest. haha.



anyway. about old stuff. old cars rock man!!! like the '69 'boss' mustang, the AC Shelby Cobra. and OLD TEE SHIRTS!! wouldn't sleep in anything else. and the older the wine, the better! (although for all the good that does, i can't tell the difference). vintage guitars, 18th century castles, aged kimchi perhaps? even older girls! haha... lipjeen is a wee bit older than me la.



anw, my point is, this applies to music too. i guess to appreciate today's music you have to listen to the pioneers!
