We've Been Too Tolerant...

dear reader. have you ever picked up an issue of the newspaper, and then you flip through the national news? doubtless, you have, but of late, i have told myself to stop. what's the point? all i feel is cynical. of everything. every God-forsaken headline that screams at me. i even get cynical about headlines that i don't see.

you see, i live in this country, let's call it "Malaise-siao!". oh that's right, with the exclamation mark. i am now 21, and i'm an adult. not because it says so on my passport, not because i'm as old as i am, and certainly not because i've grown taller. as far as Malaise-siao! is concerned, (and they should be) i'm an adult because this year, what i think counts, and what i think can and will in it's own small way, change destiny.

Malaise-siao! has a big army, and they have a lotta generals, so once every four years, after seizing all those pornographic dvds, all the generals watch them together and Malaise-siao! has what i call the General Erections.

then, we the people, the decide. since the dawn of time, we Malaise-siao!-ans have selected a bunch of numbskulls, at the Erections to measure them but mostly, ('coz they use rulers) to rule after the Erections have all become flacid. indeed, in some tongues, the name that they call themselves also can be translated literally as 'ruler'.

anyway, lets call them Garisan Rational.

i'm tired of skepticism. i'm disillusioned. i no longer believe your phony lies about how well we are doing. or how fucking integrated we are.

i have no tolerance for your religion when you enforce it onto other people.

i'm sick of looking at Garisan Rational's foot soldiers rise to become commanders and start waving knives, and recite lines that make people feel that other races are lesser.

i don't wanna be a persona non grata in my own country.

i don't wanna get grenaded.

i hate the fact that in Malaise-siao! only those who you declare your own enjoy privileges. aren't you an immigrant too?

i don't wanna have my son worship another religion and suddenly i'm forced to donate all my organs, posthumously to a cemetery of a religion i didn't believe in.

so, dear readers, when the time comes, when i see all the Erections and i see this bunch of losers. they are slow, corrupt (up to a point that i could bribe them to measure a eunuch as a winner) and sell fish. the time will come when i as a Malaise-siao!-an, will put my view on a piece of paper, and join millions of others in saying, "YOU! you are not doing your job properly! you do no measure, you do not rule properly."

you only rule the dicks you want to suck and milk for your own pleasure. i have watched in disgust for a long time now. the veil over my eyes has fallen.

i know who i will be casting my vote for.
